Questions about billing
- What is a credit?
- One credit is one proposal draft on the standard model. A premium draft is 3, an inline edit is a quarter, and a reply or a triaged proposal is a half. Reading, scoring, the pipeline, the inbox and analytics never cost credits.
- What happens when credits run out?
- Drafting stops and everything else keeps working. Buy a top-up or wait for the monthly reset. Purchased credits carry over for a year; the monthly allowance does not.
- Why is Agency cheaper than the tools I use now?
- Because Foreman is not paying for a scraping fleet. It rides Upwork’s own MCP, which is free, so the cost is models and hosting. Agency includes three Upwork profiles at $99; the closest comparable plans start at $129 for one.
- Can I try it before paying?
- The Free plan runs one hunt manually with 30 credits a month, which is enough to see how scoring works on your real jobs. Signing up also starts a 7-day Pro trial with no card.
- Do you take a cut of my Upwork earnings?
- No. Foreman charges a subscription and nothing else. Upwork’s own fees are between you and Upwork.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from the billing page. You keep access until the period you paid for ends, and your data stays available on the Free plan afterwards.
- Is the Hiring desk separate?
- It is its own plan at $49 for clients who only hire. Pro and Agency can add it as an add-on if you both sell and hire on Upwork.
- Who handles the payment?
- Freemius is the merchant of record, which means they handle VAT, sales tax and invoices in every country. Your card details never touch Foreman.
